The Best Phones 4G, 4G Speeds And Upcoming Phones For 2011: What You Need To Know

What are the best cell phones on the market today 4G? How to speed 4G battery company? To answer these questions, we sat down with Editor Molly McLaughlin ConsumerSearch.com.

Kristina Tsamis: Some of the most talked about 4G phones currently on the market are HTC EVO, Samsung and Motorola S Galaxy Atrix. What is your favorite mobile 4G? Maybe we can start with the offer from Sprint?

Molly McLaughlin: The HTC EVO 4G and 4G Epic Sprint Samsung phones are great in general, but the only problem is that 4G is not always available. Experts say that when you're in a good area 4G works very well and you get pretty good speed, but speeds are still not as fast as promised.

An interesting note is that 4G is now a great escape from the battery so it's a good idea if you do not need super speed or not to use 3G data back and give you better battery life. Another problem is that Sprint charges an extra $ 10 a month for a 4G phone, even if you're in an area of 4G. It is something to see, because even if Sprint coverage is more available, it remains what it is all over the country.

KT: What about other networks? AT & T, Verizon and T-Mobile?

MM: AT & T Atrix 4G Motorola makes a big splash this year, because he can put in a laptop. As for the phone itself new material very well, but the speed just is not there.

Verizon has a lot of interesting phones in the future, but none of them are out yet. HTC Thunderbolt published this month but was delayed several times. It is possible it will be in the middle of the month, but it is not fixed.

T-Mobile uses a technology called HSPA +. The good thing is that it is compatible with many phones. So if you are already a customer of T-Mobile, the phone may be able to enjoy a faster network. T-Mobile offers great at the moment are the myTouch 4G and G2-which are the Android phones. They get pretty decent speeds comparable to what is promised by T-Mobile. It can not be the fastest phones out there, but they live with their promises.

KT: You said that you have found the speed of 4G are underwhelming. Why do you think this is the case, even in areas with good coverage of the 4G?

MM: Yes, the evidence we have discussed mostly in the East Coast and West Coast is where all 4G networks, focusing particularly on the East Coast. The problem is that 4G promises speeds are largely theoretical and "best-case scenario." I think sometimes the material can not follow and if you do not have a good processor and enough memory, the phone will not be able to keep up with theoretical speeds. 4G networks are still in their infancy, but I think the material needs more time to catch up and manufacturers need to do other tests to see what they need to improve in order to provide true speed 4G.

What is 4G mobile phones should look out for fans in 2011? How can we make sense of WiMAX vs. LTE vs. HSPA + debate? Stay tuned for part two of this interview.
