Freddie Roach has the same problem he had met several times before: how to slow down Manny Pacquiao.

"The most important task right now is to try to slow down," Roach said after working in the mitts with Pacquiao at least a dozen laps.

Roach Pacquiao hit hard with fins, body and head and sometimes it got away with some of his own. They shared the laughter inside the ring, but the next time they work mittens, they better put their hat on. It's just eight days to match, and it is the right time for Pacquiao to slow. Roach seems to have problems to ask his congregation to do so. He said he'll try.

"I do. I have to slow down," said Roach.

Roach asked if it was possible to decrease even Pacquiao finally the final days of training on May 7 fight with Shane Mosley.

"A little," said the coach, "but not as much as I want."

Roach believes Pacquiao is all the work, road works lung-busting, intense combat, and is now ready for battle.

"He is ready to go.'s Strong. He knows the game plan very well. It is a hundred percent ready," Roach said, insisting he still will not be an easy fight.

Mittens session continued unabated, Pacquiao and Roach when asked to fetch water, boxing icon said, "Are you tired?"

"No," Roach back.

"Oh boy, I can not f *** g break," said Roach, breathing heavily into a corner.

Pinoy scribe said to him later, he appeared as he was about to quit.

"That will not happen. We had a great workout and have fun doing it. It was a good day. There came a little late today. I thought I could bring her today," said Roach.

A coach said that another concern is Pacquiao gets a little too low in weight, and said he weighed 147 after training. But it could be even lower than that.

"Yes, I am the light. But my beats are heavy," said Pacquiao.

Later, when the formation within the squad, said he only Pinoy scribes making sure all bases are covered by heading into battle.

If it were, does not show, even when Roach was called a day.

"One more?" He asked his coach.

"Not Here" was the only response he got.
